I moved platforms again, here’s why
I have experimented with other managed solutions as well as hosting myself. I’m planning an upcoming post on what my journey from newbie to a more experienced technical person has taught me.
The main lesson is that doing it on your own is really great to learn, but unless it’s a business it’ll eventually drag your productivity down. I’d rather pay for someone else to manage the server, certificates and all the platform stuff. I’ll focus on content. And in my experience squarespace is the best right now.
